(: (more info in our blog section) --------------------------------------------------- Eco-friendly Fashion was started after a friend of mine notified me about a contest taking place in our city. The challenge was to create a wearable outfit entirely out of recycled materials such as pop-cans, newspaper, old fabric, etc. Sound crazy? Well,I know I've seen some crazy designs out there before; Our group icon, for example, shows a tuxedo & bow-tie made of coke cans, and three dresses: one of pop cans, the second of Fiji Water Bottles, and the last from Skittles wrappers. Do a little research- I can almost guarantee you'll be shocked at how pretty dresses made from recycled goods can be. Now I'd like to see what all you lovely fashionistas/fashionistos on Deviant Art can come up with. Any outfit is allowed as long as it's made of recycled materials. Submit your photos and sketches; Let's see what you've got ------------ [If anyone knows of a similar contest in their area please let us know and we'll post the information asap.] |
